The Eternal 6.10m in Beach installed by Nexus Pools Gladstone

We’re delighted to announce the inaugural Pool of the Season Dealer winner for Winter 2026:  The Eternal 6.10m fibreglass pool in Beach, installed by Nexus Pools Gladstone. This pool project was about more than building a swimming pool. The team at Nexus Pools Gladstone helped this family create a backyard space where they could reconnect, heal and make new memories after suffering significant damage to their home.

The Gladstone family of seven had a passion for outdoor living and creating beautiful spaces. After significant damage to their home, they were unable to live in their home for over 10 months, residing in their shed while waiting for repairs to begin. Throughout this challenging period, they channelled their creativity into designing a backyard that would become a place of tranquillity, connection and enjoyment for the whole family.

Working closely alongside the owners, the team at Nexus Pools Gladstone’s main goal was to transform the family’s backyard into a sanctuary. At the centre of the space is The Eternal 6.10m fibreglass pool in Beach. It features a large splash deck, perfect for the family of seven to have fun or relax in shallower water, while the large swim corridor gives the whole family plenty of space to enjoy. Extending the use and comfort of the backyard, the fibreglass pool is equipped with a heat pump for year-round comfort, LED lighting, four deck jets and a robotic pool cleaner. The Eternal was complimented by an above-ground spa, lush greenery and multiple seating areas completing this resort-style space, making it a deserving Pool of the Season winner.

The entertaining area has been thoughtfully designed with a variety of spaces for both relaxation and socialising. Sun lounges, day beds and the spa are nestled amongst lush tropical planting, creating the feeling of a private resort retreat within the property. Designed to deliver exactly what the family envisioned, the space makes the most of every inch of the backyard while providing a destination that’s well worth the wait.

Nexus Pools Gladstone had to overcome some unique construction challenges for this fibreglass pool build. Access to the backyard was extremely tight, with mature trees and established gardens lining the narrow driveway. The Eternal pool shell was expertly manoeuvred through the available access, which required careful planning, precision and teamwork from start to finish. Every stage of the installation was completed with great care by the team to preserve the existing landscape that meant so much to the family.

For the Nexus Pools Gladstone team, this project represented more than a completed pool. It provided a family enduring a difficult time with something positive to focus on, a project they could work on together. The team is grateful to have played a part in that journey.
